  • description

Parco Gambrinus dates back to 1847. It is fully surrounded by the countryside of the Province of Treviso and is located not far from the Piave river that is held as sacred by the Italian people. An enormous park and centuries-old vineyard surround the building and help protect the freshness of the Lia river`s clear spring waters that emerges, bubbling, after a long underground itinerary leading it down from the pre-Alps.The park is a unique point of attraction for our guests who can wander through it enjoying rare plants and flowers, animals and birds living in semi-freedom. Its structures are fully in tune with the environment that surrounds it, and partially maintains the spirit of the classical Venetian architecture. History and environment are combined in the simple yet refined cuisine of Parco Gambrinus, appreciated not only in the Veneto, but also nationally and internationally.

Adriano Zanotto, chef and proprietor of Parco Gambrinus has won a number of prizes and awards both in Italy and abroad, and has shown how you can combine ability and art in order to provide guests with a combination of natural beauty and cuisine. This combination has earned him admission to the prestigious circle of the Locali Storici d`Italia (Historical Sites of Italy) and to the Chateux & Hotels de charme. The chef`s fervid imagination has given life to a number of extraordinary dishes, based on fresh fish and typical local products, such as the red Treviso radicchio and river crayfish (the speciality of the house). The wine list is certainly not to be missed and ranges from the best-known international labels to house production, including the Elisir Gambrinus, liqueur aged according to antique wine making techniques whose secret is held in the family`s original manuscript.

An over night stay in one of the six guest rooms will complete the warm refined hospitality that the family offers at table, the result of an art passed on through generations. History, art, tradition and a splendid park are the backdrop for this extraordinary place.
