Radicchio IGP festivals in the Treviso and Venice areas.

From 4th November 2011 to 25th March 2012, 11 annual local events will be held 2011

``FIORI D`INVERNO``: 11 RADICCHIO EXHIBITIONS, THROUGH HISTORY, CULTURE AND ART

The sixth annual ``Fiori d`Inverno``, or ``Winter Flowers`` event organised by UNPLI Treviso and the Treviso provincial authorities in collaboration with the Venice provincial authorities, which sees the two provinces` local associations to promote tourism and culture come together to promote Radicchio Rosso di Treviso IGP and local culinary traditions.

The event began in 2006 on the initiative of these local associations, and consolidated the following year with the collaboration of UNPLI Treviso and the Treviso provincial authorities, creating the ``Fiori d`Inverno`` event, based on the successful ``Primavera del Prosecco`` festival, and the project has grown in the past two years with the participation of the Venice provincial authorities, strengthening the relationship between these two provinces, in which Treviso radicchio is grown.
